  BACKSTORY —     Astrid Dominique, more commonly known as Astrid, was born in Zambales. She is the only child of Cecilia Del Fierro, a well known lawyer in their province and a devoted single mother who raised Astrid in their warm and cozy home. Astrid’s father passed away while her mother was six months pregnant, leaving Cecilia to raise her daughter on her own.Astrid grew up surrounded by love. During the weekdays, she stayed at her grandmother’s house, and on weekends she spent her time with her mother. Her childhood was filled with laughter, comfort and care, until tragedy struck. Her grandmother suddenly passed away due to a brain aneurysm.The loss deeply affected Astrid. It was the first time she encountered death so closely, and it changed her. From then on, she became fascinated with the human body and the medical field, wanting to understand how life could be lost so suddenly and how it could be saved.Throughout her academic life, Astrid proved to be both intelligent and hardworking. She consistently excelled in school, particularly in science-related subjects, and became an active student leader. She represented her school in various academic competitions and activities, earning recognition for both her leadership and her dedication.When she entered college, Astrid pursued a degree in Medical Technology at the University of Santo Tomas. Her college life was a blend of exhaustion and joy of balancing academics with a part-time job at a café near campus. Despite the long days and sleepless nights, she persevered and successfully earned her degree.After graduation, Astrid immediately reviewed for the board examinations. Upon passing, she entered the medical field. Today, Astrid is a registered Medical Technologist working at St. Luke’s Medical Center. Outside the hospital, she explores another passion the art of tattooing using her free time to express creativity.

  BACKSTORY —     Alessia Dione D.F. Samonte, more commonly known as Dione, is a professional dancer and student. She is the only daughter of Juancho Samonte, a registered nurse, and Kathleen Del Fierro, a paralegal at a law firm in their hometown.Dione grew up in a loving household where her parents were never shy about showing their affection for one another. From a very young age, she displayed a natural interest in dancing. spinning across the living room, copying choreography from the television, and humming to herself as she practiced in front of mirrors. Her parents noticed her passion early on and encouraged her to explore it.At the same time, Dione also showed a strong interest in academics. She frequently served as a class representative in debates and impromptu speaking activities, enjoying the experience of standing in front of large crowds. This confidence and curiosity led her to become a student leader.By high school, Alessia was living life of a student and dancer. Her weekdays were filled with classes, readings, and student organizations, while her evenings were devoted to rehearsals, performances, and competitions.When it came time for college, she chose Ateneo de Manila University, where she enrolled in the Legal Management program. Now in her third year, Alessia is an active member of the Ateneo Dance Society (ADS), the university’s official dance organization. Around campus, she is known not only as a Legal Management student, but also a dancer who stays late in the studio, volunteers to perform at university events, and somehow balances case readings with choreography.
